How does Carb Suppress work? The “carbohydrate inhibiting” action of Carb Suppress is centered around the main ingredient “Phaseolus Vulgaris” (white kidney bean extract). Research has shown Phaseolus Vulgaris to inhibit the ability of the enzyme alpha amylase to break down starchy carbohydrates.
Three out of four people who overeat consume too many carbohydrates, especially starchy carbohydrates. Starchy carbohydrates are found predominantly in foods such as potatoes, pastas and breads (the foods we love to eat.) Starchy carbohydrates are too large to be absorbed through the small intestine.
